The last of the Tactical Nuclear Penguin Anthony got for his birthday as a warmer before Anthony, Erika and Nik headed out into the cold. Around brunch time.
They tootled around Aylesbury, High Wycombe and Wendover drinking loads of different beers, taking notes and picture of each drink. All of the pictures we taken by Erika on this post BTW because I had not juice left in my camera.

While they were gone, I set this. A mostly Vegan and totally Vegan lunch/dinner for everyone.
For this:

Daikon, asparagus, sesame and my secret recipe whisky teryaki sauce. Vegan.

Anthony made me a pea soup the night before cause I was still ill. It was just onion, peas, stock and mint. Vegan.

And I copied the “Spring Roll” from David Kennedy’s (post below). Being vegan Erika got this one stuffed with more cucumber. We all had a Goat’s cheese role. Perfect for ladies night.

Okay so this one is obviously half eaten but it is Confit Leek with hazelnut crumbed roasted sweet potato, carrot and parsnip. Vegan. The boys had blood sausage on theirs too. Not vegan.

And for dessert was black sticky rice, coconut milk and strawberry. YUM. Also Vegan.
Tee following day, for breakfast we were lucky enough to have the left overs:

The rice and left over coconut milk turned into a baked rice pudding, there were loads of mushrooms and fruit and of course the O Porter.
